Catch 22 of the century: delete EGR and DEF and you most likely won’t need your warranty; but if you delete and happen to need the warranty, it’s void.

Just worked on 2 of them, they were plugged up solid with a hole the size of a pencil to pull air through. Both had around 100k miles.

I have deleted my 18 Cummins, but I left the EGR and all of its components intact with the exception of the exhaust. Is it still required or beneficial to pull them off?
