Since everybody loved my Gwi-Ma I designed a full body of him. My vision was well-received but I made a few slight changes to the original design. I also loved the ideas people came up with in the comments, a lot were saying how he wouldn’t have markings because it’s his branding of ownership but I still wanted to add them, but they would be more symmetrical and established instead of unorganized and jagged. He would consider them “beautiful”, whereas the demons see them as shameful and a curse. During a weak break in the honmoon when Rumi shatters cracks atop the skyscraper, Gwi-Ma would be able to come up to earth temporarily (we already know he can do this anyway since we saw him in Your Idol). This way he scopes out the souls of his feasting, keeps an eye on Jinu whom he senses is pulling away with his connection with Rumi, and this AU teases the fact that Gwi-Ma is Rumi’s father so he also would be interested in interacting with her. (I think that theory is far-fetched and on the likely not canon, but it seems like the majority of comments I’ve gotten agree that it’s a fun theory to play around with nonetheless. The only ground it has to stand on is the fact that Rumi’s demon voice alone can shatter the honmoon buuuut it’s yet just another unanswered question. :p ) >>> A more thorough display of his markings, and how symmetrical they would be. >>> Here’s what Gwi-Ma would look like on earth in his human form. His hot pink fire would reflect in his eyes instead of the usual yellow flashes of demon, and his markings would be visible as chest arm and neck tattoos. I won’t be making a KPop Demon Hunters OC, but I’ll at least make an OC appearance for Gwi-Ma.
