We ended the last campaign with the characters narrowly surviving the hags, we started the new campaign and both session multiple people (at least 2/5) dropped to death saves, next session they’ve been told they won’t die in the first combat, they don’t know that there is a second combat

So far we’ve inadvertently caused the sewerslide of an entire city on a dock by awakening an eldritch beast so our tiefling could have a fling with a Minotaur… and now we have to fight the eldritch beast at level 5.

I created a campaign that was made to make the players think they were going insane. They walked into a seaside tavern to celebrate a victory, got drunk, woke up and the tavern was in ruins and decayed for many years, they were surrounded by old corpses and the villagers said that tavern had been closed for many years

this happened last week in session two of a new campaign we started. All because I called an elven forest by it's elven name and not it's given human name. the dm threw the idea that I had spent ALOT of time there in my recover from being in the military only to then later that same session to destroy the forest and to have the Elf who planted the forest to call it my home as well. I'm human and I'm not crying.
