2 corrections: RIC does not specify the braking system, instead, when shown on a train, it means that it fulfils all the requirements needed to be able to run on any RIC track without special permissions. Furthermore, braking mode P does not disconnect the brake, that would be the bremsabsperrhahn (idk english name). Instead, it is a brake mode weaker than R.

The country code is where it was first registered and approved. A good example are the coaches RegioJet uses. Most have a A-RJ as they were made for ÖBB.

you got the braking regimes wrong. to torn off the brakes it's different (red) lever. G= nákladní P= osobní R= rychlíková. the only difference is the speed of releasing the braking pressure from the braking cylinders
