👻 Haunted History at Bama Bed & Breakfast? 👻
Watch closely and stick around until the end! Did you see our haunted friend?
Around 2 a.m. on April 18th, 2024, our security cameras at the historic Bama Bed & Breakfast captured something… unexplainable. With no guests on the property and the owners staying at their lake house, the Bed and Breakfast stood completely empty… at least, by living standards. You’ll first spot a glowing white orb entering from the left side of the frame. It quickly morphs into a larger misty shape and glides toward one of our massive, 8-foot columns, freshly delivered just that day for the new Gazebo. Suddenly, the heavy column begins to shift on its own, rolling down the hill. Once it reaches the bottom of the hill, a full apparition begins to walk back around the yard, pausing like he’s admiring his handiwork… before turning and making its way back into the night.
When they returned the next day, they found the columns at the bottom of the hill. Assuming some college kids had gotten rowdy, they rolled back the footage. And there he was: Mr. Bama-Boo, in all his spectral glory.
📍Built in 1823 and signed into existence by 5th President James Monroe himself, our beloved antebellum home has seen centuries of Southern charm and maybe a few spirits who’ve stuck around to enjoy it.
