@glamofnyc: I still can’t believe this place exists in NYC… Just 30 minutes from Midtown, Fort Tryon Park feels like a completely different world. I took the A train to 190th Street, walked out of the station, and suddenly I was surrounded by gardens, stone arches, and the kind of peace you just don’t expect in the city. The views of the Hudson River are unreal, and the Heather Garden—with over 500 types of plants—is such a dream to wander through. I also stumbled upon the Billings Arcade, this beautiful old stone structure, and ended up relaxing on the lawn nearby for way longer than I planned. It’s wild how quiet and calm it is up here.
