@marusch650: The first-ever Chicago Syro Malabar Eucharistic Congress concluded with a grand Eucharistic procession through Franklin Township, New Jersey. Over 3,600 faithful walked in prayer and reverence, beginning from Franklin High School. The monstrance was carried in a specially made boat, lifted by 12 clergy members, symbolizing the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles. Bishop Joy Alappatt of the St. Thomas Diocese of Chicago led the procession, joined by Major Archbishop Raphael Thattil, Bishop Jacob Angadiath, and over 200 priests and nuns. The walk was made even more special by the presence of 70 children who had recently received their First Holy Communion, along with 100 altar servers from across the diocese, all walking in prayerful joy.
