The problem is the capitalistic takeover of education, not college in and of itself 😫 The problem is ppl viewing college as a ticket to a job but not an opportunity for personal growth & cognitive development 😫 The problem is ppl treating their education as a means to an end & not valuing learning for learning’s sake 😫 The problem is the job market & exploitation, not ppl going to college 😫 We are in serious, serious trouble if we continue down this path of anti-intellectualism coupled with brain drain & people overly outsourcing their thinking to AI 🫠

All the information in the books used at universities was paid for by our great grandparents and grandparents taxes to National Laboratories that wrote the books we pay to learn from over decades and generations. That all should be free

college instructor here: only go if you have a goal and that's the way to reach it. if you're under 24, ask your financial aid office about financial independence. IF you qualify, you can get more financial aid, maybe even grants!
