Don’t consume sugar during your work outs, try magnesium creatine chelate, Magnesium plays a crucial role in ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production, acting as a cofactor for enzymes involved in the process and influencing the stability of ATP molecules. Specifically, magnesium ions interact with ATP, helping to stabilize it and facilitate its use in energy-requiring cellular processes. Magnesium is a divalent cation essential for a number of biochemical processes involved in nerve signaling, bone mineralization and muscle contractions. About 350 enzymes involved in glycolysis and the Krebs cycle, formation of cyclic-AMP and ATP, cellular signal transduction and protein and nucleic acid synthesis are dependent on magnesium. Proper hydration is critical for muscle function. Taken together, magnesium and creatine ensure that muscle cells retain water efficiently for better muscle function and recovery! Magnesium creatine chelate boosts cellular hydration and can support protein synthesis, so that whey protein you're having works even better.

Is the 3 minute replenishment localized? Eg. can you do an antagonistic superset so you only have to rest ~1:30 between sets?

Derek :
Genuine question; since muscle contraction activates AMPK and suppresses insulin secretion during exercise, but also independently triggers significant GLUT4 translocation to the muscle membrane, wouldn’t glucose from intra workout carbs still be taken up and used by muscles? Just trying to understand how sugar wouldn’t be effective as a fuel source in that context. Any insight is appreciated!

Thanks for tackling stuff like this. As someone who has recently gotten into going to the gym regularly again, it can be difficult to sort through who is talking out of their ass or not. and using actual terminology makes it helpful for me to do further independent research thanks to your video.
