For anyone who wants to hate on Texas bbq, BBQ originated in the Caribbean and Mexico with indigenous “Barbacoa” so. Given Texas was Mexico, and we’re in the BBQ belt we were the original American BBQ by default. So yes, we are not only the best, but the first.

It's good, people are nice. Brisket is good, not the best. Ribs were average. Prices were just as outrageous as most bigger name places these days.
