I disagree, I know someone who got 7 distinctions 94% in maths 91% in physics and 96% in life sciences but he chose to do teaching.

My maths teacher once told us he got 100% in maths he cud have been anywer else but he chose teaching bcz he wanna help a black child only to find out he couldn't handle act Sci so he switched to teaching.

One thing y'all didn't mention is being a teacher allows you to spend more time with their kids and family. You get home from work around 2:30-3pm most days. Get public and school holidays off. And you still get 15-28 days annual leave. If you work for government you have job security and pension. They aren't sl ves to corporations that are toxic. Money is important but yoh guys so is mental health and enjoying life

it has nothing to do with passion. Most people do teaching because they are assured to get a job immediately after graduation. These days people goes for careers with more job opportunities like teaching, nursing, police and army
