🤔 that would work if AI only affected social media. But it affects the whole internet which is our biggest library (data base, source of information and communication), which could increase corruption, fake news, and as you say the inability to know what really happens in our world

I’m not so sure.. there are people using ChatGPT like it’s a search engine. It’s not designed to do that kind of work, it doesn’t scan the internet for the most factual information.

I don't think it's how it'll happen. We already see how we're already supposed to know that undourced article are not to be trusted, and yet people will listen to them. So many people will just follow whatever lies AI will tell them.

The thing is: I don't understand why would anyone pay for using AI? What is the point? If someone wants to see AI-content, they can just do it themself. I don't want to see and hear AI-movies, series or music.

Having no source you can trust is actually worse than trusting bias sources of journalists because then guessing becomes the same as research

Well probably have to reevaluate our relationship with tech, computers specifically. Some people will choose to stay on sm, some to keep an eye on what's going on ans and report back, some because they sincerely don't care if anything is real or not. Regardless, who wants to bbq something?

soo, I think all AI generated stuff needs an air watermark. and if it isn't done but found out, the creator needs to be fined their entire worth.

We’ll have to restore truthful interactions - some companies have already banned video calls for decision making - I also think eventually we need to go back to in-person.

Social media allowed us to see atrocities committed that we would never have seen. Now AI buries all of that in noise. The future is dark.
