this breaks my heart as an RBT in which we teach these kids how to use these devices only for a school to not use it.

I would never truly understand why people don't find it important do you use a communication device that a student has because this is the same as speaking you would work with a student who is learning how to speak just the same as you should be working with the student who's learning to communicate using a device instead of talking
