@kimthefoodie: Sausage & mushroom orecchiette 🩷🩷🩷 Ingredients: -250g orecchiette pasta, uncooked -2 tbsp olive oil -1 shallot, diced -2 cloves garlic, minced -1 cup cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced -2 tbsp tomato paste -250 grams Italian sausage meat (about 2 links) -3/4 cup heavy cream -1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated -Salt & pepper, to taste Instructions: 1. Cook orecchiette according to directions on the package. 2. Heat olive oil on medium. Add shallot, garlic, mushrooms, and tomato paste and cook until the mushrooms shrink to about half their size. 3. Add sausage meat and break it up with the end of your spoon. Heat until the the meat is cooked through (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally. 4. Add cream and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and continue to heat until the cheese has melted and the sauce is thick. Add salt & pepper to your taste. 5. Add the cooked orecchiette to the sauce and toss to coat the pasta. 6.
