No. You’re not wrong at all. People that don’t eat with their mouths closed have absolutely no house training. It’s basic manners and the sanitary way to eat.

I hate the open mouth chewing as well. So I understand that part. But you lost me at eating and people under anesthesia part. I think if you’re hungry and able to eat (not doing any surgery) you should be able to eat. I don’t think you should starve yourself because others are not able to eat because they are gonna get surgery. Plus it is just an apple it is not like they brought in a platter and are trying to antagonize the patients. If so then all surgeons and staff should not eat whilst in the hospital or families waiting on results or outcomes of surgeries shouldn’t eat children included. So I don’t agree with that part

she could be diabetic. Most likely no one is there is to be put under anesthesia at the doctors. Could some be fasting for blood work or glucose testing? Yes and she may have been and just finished and needed food. She could have HG and that apple is keeping that from getting worse. You don’t know the situation.
