Nah your dad is correct. Get a quote on pet insurance. Research the cost of your local vet. Trust me…it’s a lot of money.

So fucking glad he brought you down to earth. Senior pets will probably cost you at least 20k+ in their old age. They are the best but not when you can’t afford financial or emotionally to take care of them.

As an owner of a disabled “designer” Persian cat and a late disabled “designer” Persian cat; the medical bills are astronomical. And I live in Europe where it’s “affordable”. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are ready to give away entire paychecks for the floofy face. I can give advice if wanted.

girl having a cat with no disabilities is a whole job in itself 😭 it's quite literally like having a child. Now add a disability on top of that?! that sounds like 24/7 care right there 😭

Depends if your ready for that commitment of having 2 disabled cats they are hard to look after and expensive also depends what kind of disability I have a paralyzed cat and the vet bills usally 400-600$ each vist and we have to get prescription food that’s 114$ every 6weeks if you think you’d be ok dealing with price and taking care of of them don’t listen to him just do it
