actually Skin So Soft works perfectly and the dogs and cats love the smell. i usually had about 5 or 6 dogs and a time and they love the smell, the bugs can't stand it and the oil in it is great for their Fur and skin.

I don’t understand these companies that don’t research oils for dogs. I am a rep for doterra essential oils and have studied oils for dogs for years. topical application of peppermint oil on dogs is not generally considered safe and should be avoided. While some dog owners may use diluted peppermint oil for natural flea and tick control, it can still be absorbed through the skin and can cause adverse reactions. Peppermint oil is toxic to dogs and can cause vomiting, diarrhea, skin irritation, lethargy, and in severe cases, respiratory distress and seizures
