It’s not even a true flop, it’s incredibly hard to get people to the movies anymore it has to click with the culture to get people to fork out the money. These movies hit D+ within 3-6 months there is no urgency.

Nah cause this movie is the same quality level as Cap Brave New World(both are 7 or 7.5) but the treatment is way different. Some of the difference is valid because Thunderbolts deals with subjects that Cap didn’t cover and those subjects resonate with different audiences however most of it seems to just put down certain people in lead roles. It’s too often certain type of people get a pass for underperforming while others are scrutinized and insulted for not performing twice as good as their peers.

I stopped listening to critics once they started becoming political. You will have the SJW who will praise certain movies no matter what and the "go woke go broke" bro in the other side who will trash certain movies no matter what. It's hard to find a lot of unbiased critics who aren't pushing an agenda now days.

Superhero fatigue. I literally only watch James Gunn movies, and Deadpool. Outside of that, I do not care. Maybe I’ll see Thunderbolts when it comes to streaming because there is a lot of hubbub around it being good. But I’m not going to the theatre for it.
