Tales From Third Grade :
My daughter submitted her last college application in January and then went straight into scholarship applications. Local and national. She would submit 2-3 a week from January through March. Before that she tried to complete a couple each month starting last summer. She's probably applied to close to 50 and has won 6. It's a ton of work but I told her she had to try and grab each dollar available to her.

My kids have received scholarships after or during their first year through different fellowships or scholarships associated with their major at their school.

I found a lot through community foundations in my area see if your area has any you also can look on the university’s website to see if they have any lists. If you don’t end up finding any call financial aid at asu they can help you find some they work for her.

I’m in my masters program at ASU right now they’re aren’t any internal scholarships I’ve noticed. I’m hoping they’ll come back in a month or so as fall semester comes closer! Has she checked out the Obama scholarship? I know lots of people are lucky enough for that one in undergrad :)
