Since we are talking about the Ronnie video I thought I would tell you guys about my experience, I was I think 9 (I’m 15 now) when I watched it, someone on discord sent it to me. I just sat there. I literally didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what I just saw. it was horrific. I will never forget what the aftermath looked like and how it was spread everywhere. I just couldn’t look away from it. Not because I liked it but because I didn’t know how to feel or what to do. I got off of it and cried to my mom about it. we still talk about it very often to this day. After that and ever since I’ve had dreams about people’s heads expl0ding, and very gorey dreams. after that when I was finally in middle school in 6th grade, someone had sent me a video of a guy who hung on a tree. and one of my friends found a website dedicated to g0re and saw people jumping. gore isn’t funny or anything to joke about. Yes it’s real life situations and things like this happen but it’s horrible to be recorded for others to see. Yes life isn’t rainbows and sparkles but it’s already bad enough we DONT need gore.

i was in a discord server where someone sent the ronnie gif, it was the actual video but with like christmas lights & trees around it, i didn’t see much thank god. only like red mist cause i scrolled up slowly. i immediately left

this is NOT a trend. it's a PSA/awareness video about internet shock/gore culture and how people are desensitised to it. they're made up characters which i won't use again. the top text is an innocent girl, the bottom text is a gore watcher viewing her death. it shows how gore watchers dont consider these are real human beings and then get off to their death/dehumanise them for entertainment (tiktok wouldn't let me put this in the videos caption)

Does gore scare me? No. Do I think it’s appropriate? No. Just because it doesn’t make you uncomfortable doesn’t mean you should be okay with its existance. Normalize not consuming content and it won’t be made.

one time my friend sent me the Ronnie video when I was 13 they laughed and I was like "oh that's CGI right hahaha" and no it was real and I was genuinely horrified I just chuckled at someone death that's why I'll always hate gore watchers that's why I'll never support shock culture because this is where it leads

Seeing real human gore has the same affect to the brain as if you were to get physically hurt. It can damage your brain and obviously increase chances of mental health disorders, I’ll never understand people who gleefully watch it.

Unironically this might sound corny, but after the Ronnie Mcnutt video was shown to me in 8th grade. I still get vivid memories of it randomly to this day and it always makes me shiver. Its crazy how humans react to other humans dying like it's entertainment.
