In times of old, when building a new cemetary, they would wait until a dog in the community died, then bury it first, so it could act as guardian and chase away the evil spirits that wanted to harm the resting souls. I wonder if Laika is our little space guardian.

I hate how laika was a stray, she trusted them, they fed her, took care of her, gave her hope of maybe having found a forever family just for them to go and do that. All in the name of discovery & space science right? It’s not even about being ethical it’s having a heart.

Sending animals up to space should be illegal, they send them up their too basically die wether they wanted to or not just for some new discovery, animal abuse shouldn’t be the cost for exploring space 💔
