about your envy route comment, I think the main story being envy kind of fits. season 1 Subaru is VERY envious. however as the story has progressed his toxic envy turned into the kind of self betterment envy.

ive has a theory for a while that Reinhard is also an isekai person but the reincarnated kind. we already know he's a representation of the standard OP isekai protagonist. I think that metaphor goes all the way. could explain why he's got this interesting relationship with Subaru and later Al. and while it's a stretch I think he mightve possibly been someone Subaru knew in his past life on Earth

The fortuna one could be true because, well first is her obsession with Betelgeuse. in season 2 where emilia takes the trial in the sanctuary it shows the past that emilia forgot and in those episode's we can see Fortuna and Geuse being flirty (i think their being flirty?) or caring and joking around, when Regulus arrived to come and get Emilia we can see that Geuse tells to run off with emilia so they can be safe but Fortuna being stubborn she leaves Emilia to the seal (The Big door surrounded by flowers) and then she comes back to help Geuse and thats when you see they actually care for each other. what are yall thoughts on this?

The first theory is pretty good ngl I always thought the concept of the main route being “envy” would be a bit weird cause it would imply Subaru is acting in a sinful way and is doing something which would be contrary to the path of virtue he’s supposed to be on

I knew almost all of these theories but the envy route theory was gas and what if the envy route is based around satella. for instance in the main route Subaru would save satella like he promised but in the envy if route he kills her and then like absorbs the envy witch factor like with the sloth witch factor. This could lead to him maybe having a split personality like satella and shit hits the fan from there.
