And regardless of the narrative they try to spin, in 2001 fresh out of High School, I could 💯 afford ALL my basic needs on a full time Subway sandwich shop income....in a suburban neighborhood. Rent, utilities, car, house phone and groceries. MINIMUM WAGE is meant to be survived on!!!
