I’ve been to many doctors about my monthly pains and all of them tell me it’s normal and that some women just have painful periods 🙃 It is so frustrating when medical “professionals” don’t take this stuff seriously

Also, tampons contain many chemicals that contribute to increased pain & heavy bleeding. I switched to a period cup last year & have noticed a difference. Took some getting used to.

Back pain during your period is a common symptom of adenomyosis. I had adenomyosis, and after my yeeterus that pain completely disappeared. 😊

Hey endometriosis doesn’t actually involve endometrial tissue. It’s cells that under a microscope look like endometrial tissue but on a cellular level is different and more closely resembles precancer cells.

YES! I have a regular period, and legit it is just a light pain. one painkiller and I'm still fit for anything, I just want to snack more and might cry. And that is normal amount of discomfort! I wish doctors would take womens pain seriously, so people who have it anything worse than that can get the help they need. no one should need to stay home due to their period!
