@feared.texas: Huntsville, Texas – On May 26th, 2025 (Monday) — Huntsville, Texas police released a body camera video showing the moments when two of the remaining fugitives who escaped from a New Orleans jail were found and arrested. Texas DPS initiated the pursuit after receiving information that Jermaine Donald and Leo Tate were in the Huntsville area. They fled, but were ultimately apprehended. A felony stop was conducted by the Walker County Sheriffs Office, US Marshal's Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, Huntsville PD and Texas DPS. Tate and Donald were taken into custody for their outstanding Louisiana warrants, and Donald was additionally charged with Evading in a Vehicle by Texas DPS. Leo Tate and Jermaine Donald were arrested Monday (May 26th, 2025) after leading law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase through the Huntsville area. Donald was charged with outstanding warrants for Escape and Resisting an Officer. His original charges were Illegal Carrying a Weapon and Second-Degree Murder. Tate was charged with outstanding warrants for Aggravated Escape and Escape from Custody.
