@dominiquetravels: should I take the invite and go stay with them for a few days? It’s Day 4 of my road trip of namibia and today I visited the Himba Tribe. A tribe that has kept its culture and traditions strong despite the evolving world around them. They’re geographically close to so many other resources, but they choose to live in their village and be self sufficient with their livestock and land. 🙌 After hearing about the himba tribe a few years back, their culture has fascinated me - so being able to speak with them more (through a translator) about their day to day life and cultural traditions & ceremonies was so fascinating. Places/people that keep their original culture strong are so admirable to me.
