when i first started work i was paid RM$250.Luckily the road was not busy like today ,so it was ok to use a bicycle.Thats how we survived...may be young working people should serously review their priorities to survive without stress.

Degree is for a long term return, not always immediately. Such as, I would not be promoted to the senior management of an European corporate if I were not a graduate. Indeed, I was a bit lucky because no one in the senior team holds less than two degree, except me.
Some bosses still think salary under rm3k are more than enough🙄🙄

I am a baby boomer. In 1988, as a foreign UK graduate I got into a foreign bank as an Executive in KL with a basic starting salary of RM4,000. Just shows that salaries have not gone up (apart from factoring in the inflation rate). 😂
