I am not surprised the Queen enjoyed his company. Court jesters have been a thing of the past for a long time, certainly not in her lifetime. The role was reprised temporarily 🤣. She was always the smartest person in the room; I imagine she had many a laugh afterwards over a dubonnet and gin.
