allot of lads get framed as 'Burgers' because they live on the west side of aston onwards south to north in the black country etc and same for johnny's for their manor goes east and south around coventry road all the north past erdington and into castle vale ends. . Johnny's have traditionally been well connected across the racial divides with contacts in the Asian communities around alum rock, sparkbrook ends to the white and Irish families around shard ends and they're top hustlers too, historically working that motorway channel over bromford and the spaghetti junctions for quickly moving product in and out of brum towards north and south with links in places like telford and on to stoke etc plus south into coventry and rugby etc since the 80's and even before. They historically took advantage of making it easy for HGV Lorry drivers to drop off product into the bromford areas just under spaghetti junction and the lorry's could then easily scoot back onto the motorways . Burgers on the other side of town were cut off from that and so had to travel out of town for theirs or fly it in, so they became muscle heads coming into conflict with the multi racial and well connected johnny's fighting to regulate club doors and inside trade . . Burgers originally formed from big families around handsworth. Allot of top tier lads patriarchs were rastafari and allot of them kids attended Holt school lozells which was right next to the border A road dividing Johnny's and burger territories. . Many on both sides are pretty much settled nowadays. Their youngsters arent on that rivalness. There's nothing to fight for and also, loads of newly arrived families into britain have formed their own 1st gen gangs that don't interest the popular attention that burgers and johnny's had. 🙏
