i hate when people pick sides in this beef. like some erwin’s fans genuinely hate armin. i love both armin and erwin but choosing armin was the right choice even levi said he didn’t regret not choosing erwin.

I also think that saving Armin just made more logistical sense than saving Erwin. Erwin was smart because of experience and grit, but his experience was in the old ways of the war. Levi saw that things were changing and Armin would change with them. Armin is quick to adapt and replan even if the problem seems insane and is something they’d never faced. So Levi isn’t just allowing Erwin to rest, he’s also making the best choice for the future.
