So true! My ex and her BF (who never met me) trash talked me all the time! As my kids became older, they started experiencing the treatment I received and my kids started coming to me for strategies on how I managed her behaviour and the emotions related to it. I was always welcoming and focussed on how they were feeling and how to resolve that, rather than making their mother the focus.

narcissistic man do the same. So mother's should do the same if it happens to them. Please speak in terms as parents instead of a father (or mother). both can act like this.

lost my daughter 30yrs ago. just was broken. was bankrupt. had nothing left to give. it's hard. but you must walk away. for your sake. and your child's sake. all you can do is pay the matiance like I did for 12yrs. wait for that phone call from your kid. if it doesn't ring it means the ex has won. and you have to move on. 👍
