the word “sure” always sounds like the opposite of what it actually means. “sure” means 100% certainty, but people always say it like in the context of “yeah, okay, i guess, whatever”. which is so annoying

context, body language, tone, etc. communication is more than just words, and 'sure' can be a very ambiguous word. I can understand people not liking it for that reason, but I disagree with saying it's a bad word that just shouldn't be used
