Never once did I drop my kids off at their GP’s. They are my kids, I raised them. I’m still working full time and I’m there for my granddaughter. My parents are Silent Gen. Seems your mom was the issue.

Well you're not talking to me. I got married 15 days after graduating HS, 8 days before our 1st anniversary our son was born. Our parents NEVER babysat our kids. My husband and I worked opposite shifts so we didn't pay daycare. Now we have 1 grandchild and I don't complain about him. My mom was 36 when I made her a grandmother. I was 45 🤷♀️
