Carolyn Bryant who falsely accused Emmett Till of whistling at her died at 88 after a long illness. She had two sons both preceded her in death. One son died 2010 other 2014. Glad she got to experience what loss felt like with thr death of both sons. BTW she remarried twice after first husband who involved in Emmett death.

It really bugs me that the white woman that put these allegation on Emmett Hill was able to live her life raise her children and were able to spend time with her grandchildren. Emmett Till never got that chance because of her lies.

I am so naive , I didn't realize this was 1955 ! I did however hear the story about this , just didn't realize it was 11 years before I was born . Growing up in Northern Wisconsin, we didn't have a population of African Americans by us . German , Irish and Norwegians& many native Americans. Such disgusting hatred to a young boy who needlessly lost his life due to one white woman's lies ! That poor child & a mother who would be tormented the rest of her life by this 😢 💔
