@ellenmackenzieee: When I first decided to quit my job and become a full time freelance social media manager, there was one thing that stressed me out the most… …money 💰 I was saying goodbye to my regular paycheck and walking towards the uncertainty. And it was terrifying. But I knew I had to at least try. Fast forward to my second month working full time for myself and I’d doubled my corporate monthly salary. Fast forward an entire year and despite the fact there was a global pandemic, the trend of making 2x my old job continued. Now that I’m in my 5th year of self employment, things have changed a little. I no longer say yes to every project. I work with a select few clients (usually 1-2 businesses at a time) and have diversified my services and product suite to create more freedom in day-to-day life. I’ve realised it’s not about hitting the next big milestone but truly enjoying the life being a solopreneur has created for me ❤️
