My papa broke horses, and they said all he had to do was talk to them and connect and they would chill. He could tame anything with a gentle touch and his voice. He passed away a month ago and this made me cry. 😭

Pregnant and sobbing watching this. I grew up watching horses get broken the “old fashioned way” (every bad farmers’ excuse to be abusive) and new farmers are just SO LOVING

Love to see that nowadays the "breaking" in breaking a horse stands for breaking fear and unfair expectations. 🥰 So smart to invite for a roll by rolling himself. You really see how comfortable the horse is, the big yawn, the relaxed face and body and that he rolled! Horses who feel unsafe would NEVER lay down, let alone roll. Only a happy and healthy horse does that.
