1. right 2. wrong (automatic is more optimized especially if it has modes option. If you put your car in economic mode it is more economic than any manual) 3. veeeeery wrong 😂 (anyone who is stealing cars know more of your car than you) 4. wrong (most of good automatics go to 500-600.000 km without any problem. In manual you have to change transmission plate minimum 2-3 times in same km) 5. wrong (Automatic with F1 is more fun than manual)

Nowadays the only advantages of a manual are cheaper manufacturing costs and long term reliability. Automatics win in in performance and fuel efficiency.

Nb 3 in the EU 90% or more are manual transmission so anti theft is not working here

The whole torque converter and fuel economy thing is a thing of the past. These days, automatics can put down the same power but typically have more gears to go through which it can also do faster. The main reason to drive manuals are (a) because it’s fun (b) because you have access to choosing gear and can get speed when you want it in daily driving and (c) because replacing a clutch is a lot easier (and/or less expensive) than rebuilding/replacing an automatic transmission
