Anther great cure for kennel cough or any lung issue is Ester C. Not regular ascorbic acid, use Ester C. 500 mg twice a day for 20 pounds to 70 pounds. 250 mg twice a day for under 20 pounds. More is not better. Use for st least 7 days. Yes dogs make their own vitamin C but Ester C will boost the immune system.

My dog recently got it after being boarded. She wouldn’t even swallow her spit. So we had to use a syringe to get her to drink it and eventually had to get her some steroids because her throat was so swollen 😢
