Fairmont Gold is an exclusive hotel-within-a-hotel experience dedicated to delivering the highest level of personalized service. Picture this: private check-in and concierge, exclusive access to the Gold Lounge with complimentary gourmet snacks, evening canapés, and an honour bar (yes, darling, honour bar). The Gold rooms come with upgraded amenities, plush bedding, and service that makes you feel like royalty. For dining within the hotel you can try the elegant Hawthorn Dining Room & Bar on the main floor which serves up modern Canadian cuisine with a glam twist or opt for indulgent in-room dining that I can share with Waffles of course! And let’s talk about Waffles’ VIP treatment! 🐾 Fairmont’s commitment to pet-friendly luxury is evident across their properties. For a nightly fee of CAD $40, they welcome up to two house-trained pets per room. Waffles enjoyed the use of a cozy dog bed and feeding bowls but no extra special treats or toys like some other Fairmont hotels 😢. He was, however, treated with the same warmth and hospitality as any guest.
