@forest_eudell: Ratatouille Sounds! with @nick.digiovanni :) . Four years ago I released my original “Rhythms of Ratatouille” video, which completely changed the course of my life. I had zero prior experience with foley (the art of sound effects) – I just thought it would be fun to try. Fast forward and now these videos have taken me all over the world, brought together millions of people online, and become my full time job! What the heck! . What better way to commemorate the anniversary of the video than recreating it with celebrity chef and superstar food creator Nick DiGiovanni! Did you know Nick trained a real life rat to make real life ratatouille? To his list of accomplishments we can now add that he’s used painter’s tape to make the sound of an egg! . I love making these videos with friends now – it’s so much fun to see the joy that comes over someone when it finally clicks. I think Nick catches the spark during the chopping section. He chops that green vegetable 28 times. Can you follow along? . The movie Ratatouille is all about the fact that “Anyone Can Cook.” It’s really true, you just have to try (and fail) a bunch of times. Here’s to making stuff with your friends! What’s more fun than that? . #rhythmsofcomedy #ratatouille #food #cooking #soundeffects #satisfying #movies #pixar #chef #musician #drums #rhythm #viral #sounddesign
