Both my cats were hit by cars 4 days apart it broke me I needed them they were my everything it really killed me and took me down still struggling that were only 1

never give up on your pets. i had a pet who had eaten something and the vets told me it had blocked his intestine and wouldnt make it and probably starve to death because he wasnt eating. they said that they wanted to put him down as chances of an operation being successful was almost 0 due to how small he was. i didnt go through with it, i couldnt be the reason for an animals death like that, i had faith that hed make it. i tried everything, syringe feeding, tons of water, massaging, liquid foods, everything. months passed and he started losing alot of weight and the lump was still there. then just when i was about to lose hope, i gave him food after many many months and he ate it. when i picked him up the lump had gone as he had passed it. now he is healthy and eating like any other pet, hes smaller for his age due to the malnutrition but he is happy and active and better than hes ever been. euthanasia is not always the answer, dont always believe what the vets tell you or anyone for that matter. theyre so much stronger than they seem. im not saying this is bad what you did, sometimes it may be necessary. but for other out there, treat your pets as you would a human. ik it sounds horrible but in some cases (not all) it is better to be alive and in pain than to be dead

Why did you give up? He could have recovered. If you had taken him to more than one vet, he might have been cured.😭

I still feel like I could have done more...yes she had Asthma, Epilepsy then an hypertrophic heart disease with acute effusion and edema then a blood clot who paralysed her but I still feel like I could have saved my baby...what if I saw it earlier??

hey sister I'm so sorry for your loss 😭 I've been there I know how hard it is to hold him for the last time ever and never wanting to let go 😭 but as a Muslim I definitely don't agree with such procedure ( putting him down ) like ending his life is not my right to even think about Allah created this soul and he's most certainly more merciful of his creation than us he gave him life and he shall take it not us, I'm so sorry for Ur loss I know it wasn't an easy decision it's just what I think
