Ok so the road to figuring out what is going on starts here. I asked my OB to run anything and everything and he has given me a requisition for: Antiphospholipid syndrome diagnostic panel Beta 2 glycoprotein I Ab Lupus anticoagulant evaluation with reflex Progesterone (which he said to book on say 21 of my next cycle, could be a while away yet) and, Chromosome analysis (he called it karyotyping and said Josh should get his PCP to run the same test - this is a very unlikely culprit for us because we have one healthy child but apparently not impossible so running it anyway) I already know that isn’t an exhaustive list because it doesn’t touch on any other possible hormonal imbalances or blood clotting disorders which are 2 common causes that keep coming up time after time in my own research so I’m still going to see a fertility specialist and run more tests on Josh as well. I hope this helps somebody to advocate for themselves after ONE miscarriage, I wish I had done this then. Even if only to get the progesterone suppositories that seemingly do no harm WHY ISN’T THAT ADVICE GIVEN BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE 🫠 anyway…much more I could say on that.
