My favorite part about my Strahd campaign is that the players were all on 2 COMPLETELY SEPARATE WAVELENGTHS. I'm playing a vampire spawn of Strahd, and my friend is playing the canonical child of 2 characters from Dracula. Meanwhile the paladin and the monk just stare at us like we're insane.

To get it across to them that CoS was different (first campaign no one died in 4 years) after they survived Death House and didn’t give a sacrifice, Strahd was waiting for them outside… TPK.
