Ni-ki laughed, a grin spreading across his face as he raised a hand and mouthed, ''Fuck you!'' Ni-ki was practically glowing with happiness when he arrived back in his hometown. In fact, you were the first person he called, even before his parents, to tell you he'd landed at the airport. He'd finally admitted it, he was falling for you, after denying those feelings for so long. That realization alone gave him the courage to confess, even though there was no guarantee you'd feel the same way. His palms were sweating as he talked to you on the phone. It was just your voice, but its effect on him was overwhelming. He couldn't even concentrate, silently cursing his own distracted thoughts because of the way you affected him.
