Deejay Richard McGin :
Is it just me or am I the only one that never adds the 2 support posts to keep it strait, the concert is strong enough to hold the post level I just check it and adjust if need to while I clean up.

you didn’t secure the cover to the post, someone could just lift the whole thing off the post and take it 😭

Mailbox a little too close to the sidewalk path. Looks like it overhangs too much?

Could have cut the 4 x 4 post higher -- almost to the top of the white sleeve

You didn’t call utility locator service to make sure no utilities were where you were digging.

Don’t use concrete it’s harder to replace with concrete and don’t use a chainsaw to cut use a sawzall

Very hard to dig up if ever needed, more tamped dirt and less concrete. A post level is cheap and handy.

No concrete, just use 1/4” gravel and pack it around the post. Has a little give if the neighbor backs into it and much easier to replace when it gets snapped off…

I would of cut the post before I installed it in the ground, and it would of been in the ground at least 24 inches
