You don’t get to see this “after” until you are with someone long enough to put the work in to enhance each other lives in the way you’re saying. doesn’t necessarily happen immediately

i think it’s the fear of being lonely and the push of marriage and long term relationships by the media that causes the masses to panic and often seek out things and DWELL in things that do not enhance their lives. and many folks truly do not enjoy their own company. great video! :)

I feel like everyone in this range is stuck on thinking about everything 10 layers deeper than you need to and if people don’t check every box and you can’t find quantifiable metrics to support your life getting better they give up.

im in this age group and these circles and see this pattern too. however i think its also keeping the men in particular a little closed off (imo). so im curious - HOW does this woman make your life better? like in what tangible ways does the “after” happen? because i understand wanting to be in a relationship that mutually adds value but how do you know whether or not it’s there with you two if you really don’t try? i think ironically enough the way we’re all going to “make each others lives better” is by engaging more, by being there for each other, by being willing to explore deeper depths of intimacy in a secure way

I’m about to be 35 next month, I am the happiest and most confident I’ve ever been in my whole adult life. I also haven’t been on a date since like Sept 2024.
