This Barbecue Chicken Pizza is made with my breadstick dough, giving it the perfect soft and chewy crust. Topped with tangy barbecue chicken and loads of melty cheese, it’s a family favorite—so good we had ZERO leftovers by day two! Dough Recipe: ✔️ 2 Tbsp yeast ✔️ 2 1/2 cups warm water ✔️ 2 Tbsp sugar ✔️ 2 Tbsp oil ✔️ 1 Tbsp salt ✔️ 6 cups flour Instructions for the dough: 1️⃣ In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let sit for a few minutes until foamy. 2️⃣ Stir in sugar, oil, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms. 3️⃣ Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 30 minutes. Pizza Ingredients: ✔️ 1 batch of dough (recipe above) ✔️ 1 cup barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray’s) ✔️ 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken ✔️ 2–3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese ✔️ 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions (optional) Instructions for the pizza: 1️⃣ Divide the dough into 8 balls and roll each out. Fold over the edges to form a crust. 2️⃣ Bake at 450°F for 6 minutes before adding toppings. 3️⃣ Mix shredded chicken with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. 4️⃣ Spread barbecue sauce over each crust. 5️⃣ Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese, then add the barbecue chicken. If using red onions, add them here. Top with more mozzarella. 6️⃣ Bake at 450°F for 12 minutes, until golden and bubbly. 7️⃣ Enjoy fresh or even better as leftovers the next day!
