I think his sentence is bullshit. This is white privilege. If he was black or a man of religion he'd have been done for attempted murder, he would have been locked up and given a very very long sentence. But because he's white and has an education he isn't as badly punished.

I think the crowd provoked it and the ones involved should be prosecuted to. I don’t agree him driving around there but I think it was a freak accident and he panicked .

Hey from a Liverpool fan from Wiltshire who has an ex Army Sargent Major brother. Dylan has himself, struggled with PTSD with his experiences in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Afghanistan. Sorry, but there is no mitigation here. This disgusting individual was high as a kite and willingly got behind the wheel of his car. He could have waited a couple of hours before the crowd simmered down and when the roads reopened. My brother has been sectioned but never violently attacked people, left, right and centre. On the contrary, he helps other ex servicemen, going through the same via the iCarp charity of which he is a founding member. May God have mercy on the soul of Paul Doyle.
