As a Houstonian: we grew up swimming in creeks and rivers along side gators. 🐊 You learn to look for signs like slides and water visibility, and how to fish safely from the dock or bank. Ask locals, listen when they say don’t do something. You’ll be alright 👍🏼

So on my trip to Florida the gator expert told us that if you go and touch the water and it it’s wet then there’s a gator… hope this helps. 🫣
