ok sure but elio comes out next month and probably isn’t going to do well. audiences complain and beg for original content and then dont show up for it. lilo & stitch will hugely outperform elio and that only incentives reboots and sequels

Whatever happened to the golden days of the early 2000s and 1990s where there were constantly new and original ideas being produced by Disney… Now all they do is recycle the same IP’s… That’s the depressing part, lack of originality!🤝🤦♂️

They’ve been doing this since the beginning. Lilo and Stitch had 2 straight to DVD sequels, Snow White had 2, Lion King, Beauty and Beast had 3, Aladdin had a sequel…list goes on

While the movie is making a lot of money I think there's going to be a ton of backlash based on the changes that occurred within the movie itself. No spoilers but there's plenty of stuff that I've seen discourse about online that would make people that are huge fans of the original movie very upset about this live-action remake of Lilo & stitch

I think we forget that Hollywood is a business first and foremost. they will do whatever needs to be done for money. do I wish more original and artistic films were made and became hits? of course. but without these sequels and remakes, etc, there's no Hollywood because those movies bring in the money. and not all of them are bad
